Promate Bluetooth Stylus Pencil for iPad with Multifunctional Button, 12-hour Battery Life, Palm Rejection, Magnetic Charging, USB-C™ Port, 1-year standby time, and Replaceable Nib / Quill-3 / Quill-3 + FREE DELIVERY !

The Promate Quill-3 is a high-precision Bluetooth stylus pen for iPad, with a multifunctional button on the barrel and a highly responsive tip. It is a wireless stylus rather than a passive rubber-tipped pen, which is what lets it deliver the accuracy needed for close work on a tablet screen.

Advanced tilt recognition lets the Quill-3 adjust stroke width according to the angle you hold it at, the way a traditional pencil widens its line when you lay it over. That gives shading and line weight without switching brushes, which is the difference between a usable sketching tool and a pointer.

Palm rejection technology means only the Quill-3 tip registers on the display, so you can rest your hand on the iPad while writing without stray marks and without wearing a drawing glove. That matters for long note-taking sessions, where holding your wrist off the glass is what makes handwriting deteriorate.

The Quill-3 supports two charging methods. Wireless charging powers the stylus up with no cable involved, and the Type-C connection handles rapid charging when you need it back in service quickly. Having both means a flat stylus is never a hard stop, whatever you happen to have on the desk.

Bluetooth v5.1 connects the Quill-3 to your devices, and once it is paired with an iPad the stylus battery level appears in the battery widget. Live power monitoring removes the guesswork that catches people out mid-session, since you can see the charge state before starting a long piece of work.

The Quill-3 uses a premium wear-resistant nib that is also noise-reducing, so it does not tap loudly against glass during fast note-taking. The nib is replaceable rather than fixed, and a spare nib is supplied with every stylus, so normal wear does not take the pen out of service.

The Quill-3 is aimed at precise note-taking, sketching and document annotation on an iPad, which covers both a workday of marking up documents and an online learning session of handwritten notes. One stylus therefore handles study, creative work and reviewing files, instead of needing a different tool for each.

The Quill-3 runs for 12 hours of operation on a charge and holds a standby duration of up to one year. The long standby figure is the one that matters for a stylus, because it means picking the pen up after weeks in a drawer does not start with hunting for a charger.
