This video introduces the Razer Wolverine V2 Pro, a wireless controller for PlayStation 5 and PC finished in white. It shows the Mecha-Tactile Action Buttons, the 8-way microswitch D-pad and HyperTrigger technology in use, along with the six remappable buttons and Chroma RGB lighting that let the controller be tuned to a specific play style.

Razer HyperSpeed Wireless connects the Wolverine V2 Pro over 2.4GHz using the included USB Type-A dongle, which works on both PS5 consoles and PCs. A dedicated 2.4GHz link is what keeps input latency predictable during competitive play, rather than sharing a crowded standard connection with everything else in the room.

The action buttons use Razer's Mecha-Tactile design, cutting the actuation distance so a press registers sooner and returns a distinct tactile click. Shorter travel means less movement per input, which adds up across a long match where the same buttons are pressed thousands of times. The feedback is deliberate rather than soft.

HyperTrigger technology lets each trigger move between a calibrated full-range pull and a rapid-fire click, so the same controller suits a racing title that needs analogue control and a shooter that needs the fastest possible tap. Razer compares the click action to the responsiveness of its fastest gaming mice.

The D-pad is an 8-way design built on microswitches, so every directional press engages with a positive tactile response instead of a soft rubber dome. Eight directions cover the diagonals cleanly, which matters in fighting games and in any sequence where an input has to be deliberate and unambiguous rather than approximately right.

Six remappable inputs are provided: four additional triggers and two programmable bumpers, all assignable to whichever functions a game needs. Interchangeable thumbstick caps come with the controller as well, so stick height and shape can be matched to your grip. Between the two, the controller adapts to a strategy rather than dictating one.

Chroma RGB lighting is built into the Wolverine V2 Pro, so the controller can be set to match the colours of the rest of a setup rather than sitting apart from it. Lighting is customisable across a wide colour range, which is also a practical way to tell this controller apart from others on the same desk.

Razer presents two example configurations for the Wolverine V2 Pro's remappable inputs: an offensive shooter layout and a defensive shooter layout. The point of both is the same, keeping your thumbs on the sticks while the extra triggers and bumpers handle actions that would otherwise require letting go. The model code is RZ06-04710200-R3G1.
