1440p Gaming Monitors: Panel, Refresh Rate and GPU Fit

A 1440p (QHD, 2560x1440) monitor is where most South African gamers land once they outgrow 1080p. At 27 inches that works out to roughly 109 pixels per inch, so text and in-game detail look clearly sharper than Full HD, without asking your graphics card to push the pixel load of 4K.

Choose by panel and refresh rate. IPS gives accurate colour and wide viewing angles, VA pushes deeper contrast for dark scenes, and QD-OLED or WOLED add per-pixel blacks with near-instant response for the cleanest motion. Refresh rates run from 144Hz up to 240Hz and beyond; a 165Hz-plus panel paired with a current 60- or 70-class GPU is the practical sweet spot for high-frame-rate play.

Every 1440p monitor at Evetech is priced in Rands with local warranty, support and fast delivery across South Africa. Match the panel to how you play, then pair it with a GPU that can hold your target frame rate.
