Is the clutch included?

Yes. The CSL Elite Pedals V2 are a three pedal set - throttle, brake and clutch all in the box. That is one of the main differences against the two pedal CSL Pedals.

Do I need to buy a load cell kit as well?

No. The load cell brake is fitted as standard on this set. The Load Cell Kit sold separately is for the entry CSL Pedals, not for these.

What does a load cell brake actually change?

It measures how hard you press instead of how far the pedal moves. Because your leg is better at repeating a pressure than a distance, your braking points become far more consistent - it is the upgrade most drivers feel immediately.

How strong is the brake?

Around 100 kg of force at full press. You can lower that in software or change the elastomers if you want a softer pedal.

Do I still need a wheel base?

Yes. The pedals connect to a Fanatec wheel base rather than directly to a PC or console, and no base is included here.

Will they work on PlayStation and Xbox?

Yes, through the wheel base. Which console they work with is decided by the base you connect them to.

CSL Elite V2 or ClubSport V3?

The V3 set adds a vibration motor in the brake and throttle and a heavier, more adjustable chassis. The CSL Elite V2 gives you the load cell brake, the clutch and a metal build for meaningfully less. Both are stocked here.

Throttle, brake and clutch, all included, and the brake is a load cell from the start rather than a kit you add later. That is the whole argument for this set over the entry CSL Pedals: you are not buying a starting point, you are buying the thing most people upgrade to.

A spring brake asks how far you pushed. A load cell asks how hard. Your leg is far better at repeating a force than a distance, so braking points stop drifting lap after lap. It takes a few sessions to recalibrate, and then going back feels like guessing.

Full press is around 100 kg of force, which is firm on purpose - closer to a real car than a games controller. If that is more than you want, the maximum can be brought down in software, and the brake elastomers can be swapped for a softer stack.

The frame and the pedal arms are metal, so the load path from your foot to the floor has no plastic in it. Under a 100 kg brake input that matters - the set stays where you put it, and the pedal feel does not change as the frame warms up or wears in.
