Is the Razer Seiren V3 Chroma good for streaming?

Yes, it is designed for streaming and gaming communication. The supercardioid condenser pickup focuses on your voice and rejects more of what is happening around it, and the reactive RGB lighting is built for on-camera setups.

What does the tap-to-mute sensor do?

Tapping the top of the microphone mutes and unmutes it instantly, so you do not have to reach for software during a stream or a call.

Do I need an audio interface?

No. It connects over USB and is plug-and-play, so it works without a separate interface or mixer.

What is the digital gain limiter for?

It helps keep your levels under control when you suddenly get loud, which reduces clipping and distortion during excited moments.

Does the RGB react to my game?

Yes, the lighting can react to your stream and your game. Lighting behaviour is configured in Razer Synapse.

Will it pick up my keyboard and mouse?

The supercardioid pattern is tighter than a standard cardioid, so it favours what is directly in front of it. Positioning it close to your mouth and using the gain control reduces how much desk noise it captures.

What is the difference between this and the Seiren V3 Pro?

The Seiren V3 Chroma is the USB, reactive-RGB model aimed at streamers and gamers. The Seiren V3 Pro is a different, higher-tier microphone in the same family.

Does the black version differ from the white or quartz?

Only in finish. The black, white and quartz models share the same supercardioid capsule, 32-bit DSP, tap-to-mute sensor and reactive lighting.
