PROMATE NOVON.PURPLE Open-Ear Wireless Over-Ear Headphones / High-Fidelity 40mm Drivers / Bluetooth v6.0 / Detachable High-Sensitivity Microphone / RGB Circular Ring Lights with 4 Modes / Up to 20H Playtime (8H with RGB On) / Integrated Controls / NOVON.PURPLE / NOVON.PURPLE

The Promate NOVON.PURPLE is a wireless open-ear over-ear headphone set in purple, using high-fidelity 40mm drivers and Bluetooth v6.0. It carries a detachable high-sensitivity microphone, RGB circular ring lights with four modes and integrated controls, with playtime of up to 20 hours or eight hours when the lighting is running.

A high-fidelity 40mm driver sits in each cup. Diaphragm size decides how much air a headphone can move, and 40mm is the class used by full-size headsets to reach low frequencies that in-ear designs cannot produce at the same scale, regardless of tuning applied further down the chain.

Connection is over Bluetooth v6.0, a step past the 5.x revisions still common on wireless headsets. What a newer Bluetooth version buys is a steadier link and better efficiency rather than a new feature list, and that shows up as audio that does not break up when you leave the desk.

The microphone is high sensitivity and fully detachable, so the NOVON works as a headset for voice chat and calls and then as ordinary headphones once the boom is removed. That single design choice is what makes a gaming headset wearable outside the room it was bought for.

RGB circular ring lights run around both cups with four modes to choose from. The ring is the shape that reads on a webcam, and four modes give you the option of a fixed look for a call or a moving effect for a stream, rather than one animation you cannot turn off.

The NOVON is rated for up to 20 hours of playtime, or eight hours with RGB switched on. Both numbers are published because lighting dominates power draw on a headset like this, and knowing the gap lets you drop the lighting when you need the battery to last a full working day.

Playback, volume and call controls are built into the headset rather than sitting on an inline module or the source device. Adjustments happen at the ear, which is quicker in the moment and is the reason integrated controls have become standard on wireless over-ear headphones.

This is an open-ear over-ear headphone rather than a sealed closed-back model. The open construction lowers pressure and listening fatigue across long sessions and leaves you aware of your surroundings, which suits home offices, shared rooms and anyone who dislikes the shut-in feel of sealed cups.

This version is the NOVON.PURPLE. The purple shell carries colour on its own before the RGB lighting is switched on, which is the practical reason to choose it over black when the headset has to sit inside a desk setup that already has a colour scheme.
