Most disappointment with accessories comes from a specification mismatch rather than poor quality. A charger only delivers the voltage and current profiles it advertises, a cable carrying more than 60W needs an e-marker chip inside it, and a hub without its own power supply cannot charge a laptop and run a monitor at the same time.
A dull buying order works best. Fix whatever annoys you daily, check the standard at both ends of the connection, and compare brands last. A dock, a decent set of headphones and a spare cable that lives in the bag change more days than any novelty gadget.
