Start at the processor suffix. HX is the desktop-derived die at 55W base power, and it needs a body with room for a vapour chamber and three fans. H is the 45W design that fits a thinner chassis and carries a larger integrated Arc graphics block instead.
ASUS then separates its models by thermal hardware rather than by badge. The SCAR line uses an end-to-end vapour chamber shaped to the board layout, sandwiched between upper and lower heatsinks built from 0.1mm copper fins, with Conductonaut Extreme liquid metal on the processor and the graphics chip.
