ASUS ROG STRIX SCAR 18 G835 Ultra 9 RTX 5080 with 48GB RAM & 16TB SSD – Ultimate Gaming Laptop Powerhouse
Redesigned 2025 Strix 18 Maintenance
The 2025 Strix 18 features a tool-less chassis redesign that simplifies hardware upgrades. Users can quickly access RAM, SSD slots, and fans, utilizing the integrated Q-latch system for rapid storage replacement without needing a screwdriver.
Efficient Tool-Less Q-Latch System
Moving away from traditional, cumbersome screws and standoffs, the ROG Q-Latch system uses a simple plastic hinge to hold M.2 SSDs firmly in place. This design allows for effortless, tool-free installation and removal of storage drives.
High-Performance PCIe Storage Options
Experience rapid data speeds with PCIe Gen 4 storage, offering throughput up to 7000MB/s. Both SSD slots feature the convenient tool-less Q-latch mechanism and are ready for PCIe Gen 5 upgrades to support even greater performance.
Upgradable DDR5 Memory
The system supports up to 64GB of DDR5 6400MHz RAM for superior multitasking. Two easily accessible SO-DIMM slots allow users to upgrade their memory configuration without requiring specialized tools.
Versatile Thunderbolt 5 Connectivity
Equipped with dual Thunderbolt™ 5 ports, this machine provides triple the bandwidth compared to Thunderbolt™ 4. These ports support extensive USB-C peripherals, including high-resolution displays, power delivery, and advanced docking stations.
Advanced Intelligent Cooling System
The 2025 Strix 18 utilizes an upgraded cooling layout with rear-hinge exhaust vents to protect your hands from heat. Features like a full-width vapor chamber, triple-fan technology, and Conductonaut Extreme liquid metal on both the CPU and GPU ensure peak performance with reduced noise in Turbo Mode.
Immersive Nebula HDR Mini LED Display
This display features Mini LED technology with over 2000 dimming zones and 1200 nits peak brightness. With a 240Hz refresh rate, G-SYNC support, and dual ACR layers that reduce glare by 55%, it provides fluid motion and exceptional contrast for gaming and creative work.
Customizable AniMe Vision Lid
The laptop lid features an AniMe Vision display comprised of 810 LEDs behind 9,152 precision-milled holes. Users can personalize their laptop's appearance by importing custom GIFs or selecting from a variety of built-in animations.
Pro-Grade Esports Keyboard
Designed for competitive gaming, the keyboard is rated for over 20 million presses and includes n-key rollover to prevent missed inputs. It features per-key RGB lighting, dedicated media keys, and ROG Overstroke technology for faster, more accurate actuation.
Studio-Quality Audio and Noise Cancellation
Featuring quad speakers with Dolby Atmos, this system delivers balanced, multi-dimensional sound. Additionally, CPU-powered Two-Way AI Noise Cancelation filters background chatter from both your microphone and incoming audio, ensuring clear communication without sacrificing gaming performance.
