ROG Strix G

Raise your game. Play with style.

ESPORTS DOMINATION

At the heart of the brand-new 2022 Strix G lies the latest AMD

Ryzen™ 9 6900HX CPU, coupled with a NVIDIA® 3080 Laptop

GPU featuring a maximum TGP of 150W and MUX Switch technology. To

ensure optimal responsiveness, state-of-the-art DDR5 memory keeps

your CPU fed with data. With PCIe® 4.0 SSD support, bid

farewell to slow file transfers and lengthy game loading screens,

and embrace seamless performance.

GET MORE WITH MUX

This year, in response to the demands of top-tier components,

particularly cutting-edge GPUs, we're boosting the Strix G's max TGP

by 20W, bringing it to a total of 150W for the NVIDIA® GeForce

RTX™ 3080 Laptop GPU. With increased power limits, you can

unleash even more performance from these graphics cards,

guaranteeing an unparalleled gaming experience.

In contemporary gaming laptops, frames usually traverse through

the CPU's integrated graphics before being displayed. While this

preserves battery life, it limits the GPU's performance. To tackle

this, all 2022 ROG laptops are equipped with a MUX Switch. This

enables you to switch to a direct GPU mode for competitive games,

decreasing latency and enhancing performance by an average of 15%.

KEEP YOUR CPU COOL WITH LIQUID METAL

Cooling remains one of the biggest challenges for gaming laptops,

and ROG is always pushing the boundaries in this field. This

dedication led to the development of Liquid Metal, known for its

outstanding thermal conductivity. By keeping temperatures lower,

processors can sustain higher clock speeds for longer periods,

reducing the reliance on fans to operate at louder volumes.

*In ASUS internal testing, Liquid Metal demonstrated notable

temperature improvements compared to traditional thermal compounds.

Furthermore, its thermal conductivity surpassed industry standards,

underscoring its exceptional ability to efficiently dissipate heat.

UPGRADED ARC FLOW FANS™ MOVE MORE AIR WITH LESS NOISE

The upgraded Arc Flow Fans™ now feature 84 curved blades

meticulously engineered to maximize airflow efficiency while

minimizing noise. With varying thickness, these blades effectively

reduce turbulence as they accelerate air through centrifugal force,

ensuring a quieter operational experience overall.

*The enhanced airflow has been tested internally by ASUS and

compared to the previous 71-blade ROG fan design.

A SPLASH OF COLOR

Add some excitement to your life! Choose the subtle Eclipse Gray

for a discreet look that hides your laptop's capabilities, or go

bold with the vibrant shades of Volt Green and Electro Punk,

making sure you stand out from the crowd.

COMPETITION HERTZ

The 17" Strix G elevates its performance with larger panel

sizes and enhanced refresh rates, providing choices ranging from

FHD 144Hz or 360Hz to a QHD 240Hz display. For those seeking the

utmost speed, the Full HD 360Hz option stands out. Alternatively,

if immersive visuals are your priority, the QHD option offers an

excellent balance between resolution and refresh rate. Some models

feature a swift 3ms response time and come with Dolby Vision HDR

support, ensuring exceptional contrast and picture quality.

CRYSTAL CLEAR COMMUNICATION

Smart Amp speakers, in collaboration with Dolby Atmos technology,

heighten spatial immersion by providing nuanced and layered sound

effects. Tailored preset modes for movies and games enable you to

optimize your audio experience. Hi-Res audio ensures impeccable

fidelity when using headphones. AI Noise Cancellation filters both

incoming and outgoing audio, guaranteeing crystal-clear

communications even amidst noisy surroundings. With these

functionalities, you'll never overlook crucial callouts again.

STRIKE WITH PRECISION

Overstroke technology elevates both work and play experiences on

the Strix G by minimizing key actuation and enhancing

responsiveness. Crafted with gamers in mind, it incorporates

spaced function keys for effortless identification and dedicated

hotkeys for swift access to crucial commands. The ample arrow keys

ensure precise control during intense gaming sessions.

Additionally, the generous touchpad facilitates smooth tracking

across all applications. With per-key RGB lighting, you have the

flexibility to customize each key with millions of colors,

offering endless personalization possibilities.
