What Architecture Software Asks of the Hardware
Architecture is an unusual workload because two halves of it want opposite things. Modelling and editing in Revit lean on one processor core at a time, so peak clock speed decides how quickly a view redraws after you move a wall. Rendering in Enscape, Twinmotion or Lumion is the reverse: it lives almost entirely on the graphics chip and its video memory.
That is why a machine chosen purely on core count can still feel sluggish in studio. Match the graphics memory to the visualisation package your school teaches, give yourself enough system memory for a model with consultants' files linked into it, and treat the screen as a colour instrument rather than a spec line. Collection of paid orders at the Centurion warehouse is by prior arrangement only.
