A graphic-design laptop needs a suitable colour-managed display, enough memory and storage, and processor or GPU capability for the applications and document sizes used.
sRGB, DCI-P3 and Adobe RGB are different colour spaces, and percentage coverage should name the tested gamut. A low Delta E claim also needs a defined method and profile.
Adobe recommends 16GB or more for current Photoshop, while complex layered files and several creative apps can justify 32GB. Capacity does not replace adequate scratch-disk space.
Photoshop requires current DirectX 12-class graphics for supported acceleration, with more VRAM useful for 4K displays and GPU-heavy tools. Other design applications have their own requirements.
A fast internal SSD helps applications, cache and active files, but free capacity matters too. Keep project backups on a separate device or service.
A calibrated external display may need HDMI, DisplayPort over USB-C or Thunderbolt with sufficient bandwidth. Confirm charging, dock and card-reader needs separately.
